So, my Hari Raya celebration....
It's our turn to balik Mersing this raya. We headed to Mersing on Thursday night around 12 midnite. I just like to travel midnite or early in the morning, as we all can expect the traffic will be like 'oh very crazy!' during the festive season.
Off we go, and we reached Mersing 4 1/2 hours later, just nice for the time to have our last sahur for the year..and doze off immediately after Subuh prayer.
As usual, the day before raya always the busiest day when we have to get everything to be ready by midnite.
Last minutes shopping, last minutes arrangement and last minutes of everything!
Since ayah just got the house renovated and considering my parents condition lately, the-light-and-easy kinda attitude, nothings ready! Gosh!
Really, they were waiting for us to do all. So, myself, B and lil' bro push ourselves to the limit until everything's ready by midnite, too bad since lil' sis only reach home 3 in the morning from KL!
First day Raya
As usual, in the morning we go for pray. After come back, people start to come, non stop...until the end of the day. So me and lil' sis becoming orang dapur all the time.
Besides, we also have the agenda of eating spree!
The menu, my mom cooked the best ever sup ayam kampung slaughtered by my dad last night. Yes, a bit too different from the typical raya menu, but we like it!
Later on that day only we had the other typical menu, but still not from our kitchen though.

Second day Raya
We only manage to go out to visit our grandmother and rush back home to get ready for more people to come.
As usual, the relatives always come in group, read BIG GROUP! and again, we have to be at the kitchen all the time.
We also have to get ready for the BBQ dinner at night and again the last minutes shopping for the last minutes additional menu here and there.
Always, mom and lil' sis : tu tak cukup ni tak cukup, nanti orang datang ramai, lemon tak beli lagi, salad dressing...bla..bla..bla..and as usual, when the time come, everything's ready. Yey!
The BBQ dinner went on until midnite, we had a very good time with the relatives and friends came to wallop the food until the last piece of the grilled chicken and beef with all the side menus. Done for today!

Third day Raya
The plan to go out beraya early in the morning has been distracted, the rain was pouring heavily until 2 p.m. and we only manage to go out to visit an uncle around 5 p.m. and continue again for another visit at nite.
Fourth day Raya
We were getting ready to go back to KL since early in the morning cos I hate to travel during midday. And as usual, there are a lots of things and messages and advices from the oldies. We only manage to leave Mersing around 12 noon and reach KL around 4.30 p.m.
End of our balik kampung raya...
All in all, it was great eventhough we missed someone a lot...and we are in a very deep pain...it hurts...really.
